Warm Weather Shipping
Shipping chocolate in the summer months can be quite tricky! To help avoid any chance of having your chocolate product melt during the delivery process Sugar Plum has implemented a warm weather shipping policy for the months of May, June, July, August & September.
If you live in one of the southern or coastal states ( CA, AZ, NM, TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, TN ), warm weather shipping can apply much sooner and last longer.
Each product containing chocolate will be packed with cold packs to help keep your chocolate cool for up to 48 hours! All shipping options are limited to those with transit times of two days or less, and will include a $5.00 fee for the cold packs (which are reusable!).
Even with cold packs, chocolate is still no match for the sun and if left outside will melt. Sugar Plum Chocolates is not responsible for melted chocolate if the package has been left outside.
To ensure quality and freshness we will only schedule items to be delivered from Tuesday through Friday; Saturday option available for most locations and products.

Can Orders Be Shipped To US Territories & International Destinations?
We ship to most U.S. territories and international locations. If your destination isn’t listed or you need assistance with your order, our customer service team is here to help at (800) 447-8427.
What If My Order Was Shipped To The Incorrect Address?
If the error was made by Sugar Plum Chocolates then we will refund or re-ship the item to the customer at no cost. Unfortunately, if the address was entered incorrectly by the customer during checkout Sugar Plum Chocolates is not responsible.
When Will My Order Arrive?
For standard shipping your order will arrive within 2-7 business days.
Overnight delivery will arrive the next business day as long as your order has been placed by 2pm Eastern Standard Time.
Do Your Products Contain Allergens?
All of our products are manufactured in a facility that may also contain tree nuts, peanuts and soy.
Are Your Chocolates Kosher?
Some of our products are Kosher Certified. If a product is Kosher it will have the Kosher label.
How Should I Store My Chocolates?
The most favorable storage temperature for our chocolate products is between 60 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The product should also be stored in a cool and dry place.
If stored under the proper conditions, our products will retain their freshness for months.

What Is The Return Policy?
Due to the food-based nature of our products, Sugar Plum does not accept any returns of our products. All sales are final.
