Although lemon desserts like lemon custards and lemon pies have existed for many centuries, the current lemon meringue pie that everyone knows and loves has only existed since the 1800s. We have further refined the recipe by whipping lemon meringue in a dark chocolate ganache and then enrobing it in dark chocolate.  It is the dessert that history has been building toward!
